Vantage is a town located in Kittitas County, Washington. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 70.

Geography


Vantage is located at 46°56'48" North, 119°59'30" West (46.946710, -119.991758)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²). 0.8 km² (0.3 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 70 people, 25 households, and 20 families residing in the town. The population density is 84.5/km² (219.7/mi²). There are 39 housing units at an average density of 47.1/km² (122.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 84.29% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 1.43% Pacific Islander, 2.86% from other races, and 11.43% from two or more races. 22.86% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 25 households out of which 28.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.0% are married couples living together, 4.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.0% are non-families. 20.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 0.0% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.80 and the average family size is 3.25. In the town the population is spread out with 24.3% under the age of 18, 15.7% from 18 to 24, 21.4% from 25 to 44, 32.9% from 45 to 64, and 5.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 105.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 103.8 males. The median income for a household in the town is $26,250, and the median income for a family is $43,750. Males have a median income of $26,250 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the town is $17,605. 0.0% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line.
