Beliefs

Spirit and consciousness are one in the same. An individual's consciousness is in a constant struggle with the desires and instincts of body and mind. By ignoring bodily desires, an individual can strengthen their spirit.

Practices

Meditation: By attaining complete relaxition of the body and emptiness of the mind, one can draw out their consciousness. Meditation is most productive when practiced in a natural environment.

Sleep Deprivation: By depriving the body of sleep for periods of 1-2 nights, body and mind will become fatigued and one's consciousness will be drawn out.

Fasting: By depriving the body of food for 2-3 days, body and mind will become weak, and one's consciousness will be drawn out.

Mind Alteration: Through the meditative use of halleuceneginic substances provided by nature, one can strengthen the spirit. However, the misguided use of such drugs can achieve the opposite- empowering the mind's and body's desires.
