Digital Illusions CE Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment (DICE) is a Swedish company that develops computer games. It was started by members of the former demo group "The Silents". It is still visible in some of the games. For instance The Silents used the acronym TSL and in Motorhead there are banners and signs saying TSL. In the manual it's said to stand for "Trans-atlantic Speed League", a case of a backronym. All members came from the small towns of Alvesta and Växjö. For a long time, while the employees were also studying at Växjö University, the company's office consisted of a small dorm room. During those days the company developed many titles for the Amiga 500, such as Pinball Dreams, Pinball Fantasies, and Pinball Illusions. (references)
Illusions (video game) Illusions is a surreal Colecovision in which the player maneuvers blobs around the screen, trying to get them to merge, or, alternately, split apart. At times, lizards may chase the blobs around. The water bucket, when spilled, can cause the lizard to turn into a fish. If the fish remains there too long, however, it turns into a bird. The game was created by Nice Ideas, a division of Mattel that was located midway between Cannes and Nice. (references)

Lord of Illusions Lord of Illusions is a horror film, written and directed by English author, filmmaker, and artist, Clive Barker. Based on his earlier short story, The Last Illusion, this film presents Barker's signature Harry D'Amour character on-screen for the first time. Barker asserts that the Director's Cut of this film is his definitive version, and states that the theatrical release is not indicative of his true vision. (references)
Necessary Illusions Necessary Illusions is a book by Noam Chomsky about how political power uses propaganda to distort and distract from real issues to maintain confusion and complicity, preventing real democracy from becoming effective. Like many of the titles by Chomsky, such as how Pirates and Emperors comes from St. Augustine's City of God and Manufacturing Consent from Walter Lippmann, the title of this book borrows a phrase from an earlier political commentary; in this case, Chomsky quotes from the writings of Reinhold Niebuhr. Pinball Illusions Pinball Illusions is an Amiga A1200 and DOS computer game from 1995 developed by Digital Illusions CE, as a sequel of Pinball Fantasies and Pinball Dreams. The original Amiga release featured three tables - the PC version added a fourth, Law & Justice (this was written for the Amiga version but not considered good enough for inclusion). This was the first version of the series to feature more than 1 ball in play at a time (known as 'multiball'), and the first not to be released for the Amiga 500. (references)
