Hypoxis hirsuta (Common goldstar, Common star-grass, Eastern yellow stargrass, Yellow star grass) is an ornamental plant native to the United States in the Hypoxidaceae family. Sometimes this plant is placed in the Amaryllidaceae family or the Liliaceae family.
