Ox heads & horse faces Ox-Head (牛頭) and Horse-Face (馬面) are two fearsome guardians of Underworld in Chinese mythology, where the dead face judgement (and punishment) prior to reincarnation. As indicated by their names, one has the head of an ox, and the other has the head of horse. They are the first people a dead soul meets upon arriving in the Underworld; in many stories they directly escort the newly dead to the Underworld (apparently some try to run away). FACES

The Forum for American/Chinese Exchange at Stanford, aka FACES, is a student-run organization based at Stanford University dedicated to fostering Sino-American exchange. The group aims to create dialogue between Chinese and American students, thereby constructing a positive foundation for relations between the two countries.

It was founded in the fall of 2001 by Jessica Chen Weiss, a student attending Stanford at the time. The organization's alumni network extends globally with over 200 delegates and organizers. Advisers to the group include university faculty, members of the business community, and representatives from non-governmental organizations.

FACES has chapters at Stanford University, Peking University, Fudan University, and Renmin University. Since 2003, it has held conferences both in the United States and in China. Past conference programming has focused on Commerce, Culture, Technology and the Environment, and the International Political System, among other issues. In addition, the organization holds panels on issues related to Sino-American relations at Stanford.

Notable speakers have included former Secretary of Defense William Perry, Zbigniew Brzesinksi, Thomas Friedman, and Robert Kapp.

Dondequiera que estéis, volved vuestro rostro hacia ella. Aquéllos que han recibido la Escritura saben bien que es la Verdad que viene de su Señor. Alá está atento a lo que hacen.

SURA AL- BAQARA Kwa yakini tukiona unavyo geuza geuza uso wakombinguni. Basi tutakuelekeza kwenye Kibla ukipendacho.Basi elekeza uso wako upande wa Msikiti Mtakatifu; na popote mnapokuwa zielekezeni nyuso zenu upande huo; nahakika wale walio pewa Kitabu wanajua kwamba hiyo nihaki itokayo kwa Mola wao Mlezi. Na Mwenyezi Mungu si mwenye kughafilika na yale wanayo yatenda.

Artık yüzünü Mescid-i Haramtarafına çevir. (Ey müslümanlar!) Siz de neredeolursanız olun, (namazda) yüzlerinizi o tarafa çevirin. Şüphe yok ki, ehl-i kitap, onun Rablerindengelen gerçek olduğunu çok iyi bilirler. Allah onlarınyapmakta olduklarından habersiz değildir.
