Echinochloa
Echinochloa is a genus, some of whose members are grown as cereal or fodder crops, grouped with the millets, and known by common names including barnyard millet and billion-dollar grass.
Domesticated species are:
- Echinochloa esculenta (Japanese millet)
- Echinochloa frumentacea (White millet)
- Echinochloa stagnina
Wild species include:
- Echinochloa caudata
- Echinochloa colona (Shama millet)
- Echinochloa crus-galli (Barnyard grass/Cockspur)
- Echinochloa oryzoides (Early water grass)
