E kush e përjeton prej jush këtë muaj, le të agjërojë, ndërsa kush është i sëmurë ose në udhëtim, le të agjërojë aqë ditë nga ditët e mëvonshme. All-llahu me këtë dëshiron lehtësim për ju, e nuk dëshiron vështërsim për ju. The Cow Ramadhan is the (month) in which was sent down the Qur'an, as a guide to mankind, also clear (Signs) for guidance and judgment (Between right and wrong). So every one of you who is present (at his home) during that month should spend it in fasting, but if any one is ill, or on a journey, the prescribed period (Should be made up) by days later. Allah intends every facility for you; He does not want to put to difficulties. (He wants you) to complete the prescribed period, and to glorify Him in that He has guided you; and perchance ye shall be grateful.

Die Kuh (Al-Baqarah) Der Monat Ramadán ist der, in welchem der Koran herabgesandt ward: eine Weisung für die Menschheit, deutliche Beweise der Führung und (göttliche) Zeichen. Wer also da ist von euch in diesem Monat, der möge ihn durchfasten; ebenso viele andere Tage aber, wer krank oder auf Reisen ist. Allah wünscht euch erleichtert und wünscht euch nicht beschwert, und daß ihr die Zahl (der Tage) erfüllen und Allah preisen möchtet dafür, daß Er euch richtig geführt hat, und daß ihr dankbar sein möchtet.
