Amaravati Buddhist Monastery Amaravati Buddhist Monastery is a monastery in the Thai Forest Tradition of the Theravada lineage of Buddhism. Amaravati Buddhist Monatsery is a centre of teaching and practice. It is located in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, England. Amaravati means "Deathless Realm" in Pāli, one of the Buddhist scriptural languages. The temple was founded by the disciples of the noted Thai meditation master, Luang Por Cha. Berkeley Buddhist Priory The Berkeley Buddhist Priory is a Buddhist temple in the Soto Zen tradition. Located in Albany near San Francisco, the Priory offers a regular schedule of meditation, Dharma classes and Buddhist ceremonies. Buddhist calendar The Buddhist calendar is used on mainland southeast Asia in the countries of Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and Myanmar (formerly Burma) in several related forms. It is a lunisolar calendar having months that are alternately 29 and 30 days, with an intercalated day and a 30-day month added at regular intervals. All of its forms are based on the original third century Surya Siddhanta, not its modern form (both forms are used by the various Hindu calendars). (references)
Buddhist chant A Buddhist chant is a form of musical verse or incantation, in some ways analogous to Hindu or Christian religious recitations. They exist in just about every part of the Buddhist world, from the Wats in Thailand to the Lamaist temples of India (re: Tibetan Government in Exile). Almost every Buddhist school has some tradition of chanting associated with it, regardless of being Theravada or Mahayana. (references)

William Fernando, N. S. Fernando and Carolis Pujitha Gunawardena (Secretary).
