MeshNoun1. The number of opening per inch of a screen; measures size of particles; "a 100 mesh screen" or "100 mesh powdered cellulose". 2. Contact by fitting together; "the engagement of the clutch"; "the meshing of gears". 3. An interconnected or intersecting configuration or system of components; "there was a hole in the network where some of the strands were broken"; "he used a copper frame with copper meshing". 4. An open fabric woven together at regular intervals. 5. The act of interlocking or meshing; "an interlocking of arms by the police held the crowd in check". Verb1.
