Cabot is a town located in Washington County, Vermont. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,213.

Geography


According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 99.8 km² (38.5 mi²). 96.6 km² (37.3 mi²) of it is land and 3.2 km² (1.2 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.22% water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 1,213 people, 452 households, and 319 families residing in the town. The population density is 12.6/km² (32.5/mi²). There are 634 housing units at an average density of 6.6 persons/km² (17.0 persons/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 95.96% White, 0.08% African American, 0.25% Native American, 0.33% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.25% from other races, and 3.13% from two or more races. 0.66% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 452 households out of which 36.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.1% are married couples living together, 8.8% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 29.4% are non-families. 21.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.68 and the average family size is 3.11. In the town the population is spread out with 28.4% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 27.4% from 25 to 44, 26.5% from 45 to 64, and 10.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 38 years. For every 100 females there are 98.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 98.9 males. The median income for a household in the town is $43,092, and the median income for a family is $49,205. Males have a median income of $31,544 versus $25,000 for females. The per capita income for the town is $18,585. 7.5% of the population and 4.4% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 7.2% are under the age of 18 and 5.7% are 65 or older.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 2.9 km² (1.1 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 239 people, 91 households, and 65 families residing in the village. The population density is 81.7/km² (212.2/mi²). There are 95 housing units at an average density of 32.5 persons/km² (84.4 persons/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 92.47% White, 0.42% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.84% from other races, and 6.28% from two or more races. 0.42% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 91 households out of which 40.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 52.7% are married couples living together, 16.5% have a woman whose husband does not live with her, and 27.5% are non-families. 25.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.63 and the average family size is 3.05. In the village the population is spread out with 32.2% under the age of 18, 6.7% from 18 to 24, 30.1% from 25 to 44, 20.5% from 45 to 64, and 10.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 35 years. For every 100 females there are 94.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 90.6 males. The median income for a household in the village is $45,417, and the median income for a family is $54,583. Males have a median income of $35,625 versus $25,625 for females. The per capita income for the village is $18,411. 4.9% of the population and 1.6% of families are below the poverty line. Cabot is a city located in Lonoke County, Arkansas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 15,261.

Geography


Cabot is located at 34°58'22" North, 92°1'20" West (34.972647, -92.022329)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 49.7 km² (19.2 mi²). 49.5 km² (19.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.47% water.

Demographics


As of the census2 of 2000, there are 15,261 people, 5,432 households, and 4,329 families residing in the city. The population density is 308.2/km² (798.2/mi²). There are 5,712 housing units at an average density of 115.3/km² (298.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 96.56% White, 0.33% Black or African American, 0.40% Native American, 0.88% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.49% from other races, and 1.30% from two or more races. 1.87% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 5,432 households out of which 47.1% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 65.7% are married couples living together, 10.7% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.3% are non-families. 17.2% of all households are made up of individuals and 5.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.78 and the average family size is 3.14. In the city the population is spread out with 31.5% under the age of 18, 7.6% from 18 to 24, 34.0% from 25 to 44, 19.0% from 45 to 64, and 7.9% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 32 years. For every 100 females there are 95.8 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 89.9 males. The median income for a household in the city is $49,389, and the median income for a family is $53,933. Males have a median income of $37,450 versus $26,209 for females. The per capita income for the city is $19,020. 7.1% of the population and 5.6% of families are below the poverty line.
