Specialty Definition: CPM-86

(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)

CP/M-86 is a version of CP/M made for Intel 8086 CPUs. It was available at the same time as MS-DOS, but even if it was more advanced the higher cost made most people buying an IBM PC choose MS-DOS instead.
