Citroën Saxo is a car built by Citroën since 1996 and scheduled to be discontinued at the end of 2003. It is a small hatchback sold in Europe, chassis/parts shared with the Peugeot 106.

During its development phase, the project was code-named "S8".
Many models have come and gone over the Saxo's lifetime, although underneath each different named model, e.g. Saxo First, Saxo Desire, Saxo Executive is one of the following engines.
All 4 Cylinder. 1.1, 1.4, and 1.5Diesel.
2 Models have remained since their introduction in 1998. Saxo VTR (1.6 8v Approx 100Bhp) Saxo VTS (1.6 16v 120Bhp)
